EXPERTISE
THE ADDIE MODEL
Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. A systematic process for developing instructional content. It has many popular iterations but, they always come back to these basic building blocks. I am available to perform any step of your course design process.
INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES
Clear and concise, learning objectives are the foundation of all great courses. Performance based objectives lend them selves directly to the course assessments and set the learner up for success. I draw from Robert Mager's work making sure each objective is performance based with conditions and criterion.
ADULT LEARNING THEORY
I'm a theory nut. My favorites include the ARCS model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction), Revised Bloom's Taxonomy, and Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction. Theories applied to specific projects depend on the leaner's context and may include elements of many or one singular theory.
